They are increasingly become the alarm-type of choice for modern homes and can be connected to various devices such as motion sensors and remote access systems. Here are the advantages:
- Installation can be cheaper and easier, and in some cases, users may be able to do it themselves
- There is no drilling required during installation, and no need to worry about unsightly wires
